AORTA ESTABLISHES YOUNG INVESTIGATOR AWARD
AORTA is pleased to announce the establishment of a Young Investigator Award, to be given yearly, recognizing an excellent paper published during the prior calendar year and first-authored by a young investigator in training or in the early post-graduate years.
This award is intended to encourage academic efforts by early career physicians and surgeons, as well as allied professionals in basic science and engineering and is accompanied by a cash prize of $500.

Seyed Hossein Aalaei-Andabili receives the Young Investigator Award 2019 for his original research paper “The Florida Sleeve Procedure Is Durable and Improves Aortic Valve Function”, published in AORTA 2019; 07(02): 49-55.
