Biography
Dr. Recinos is an ABNS and ABPNS certified pediatric neurosurgeon who is the Section Head of Pediatric Neurosurgery at the Cleveland Clinic. She graduated with a major in Neuroscience from the Johns Hopkins University and stayed on to complete medical school, her neurosurgical residency, and her pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. During her residency, she also completed a two year NIH fellowship in Neuro-Oncology, investigating local delivery of chemotherapeutic agents in the treatment of brain tumors. She maintains an active research laboratory focused on the investigation of CNS tumors.
