Biography

Dr. Jens-Eric Röhl was born in 1972 in Bielefeld, Germany. From 1994 to 2000, he underwent studies of medicine at the Westfälische Wilhelms-University of Münster, Germany, and Tulane University in New Orleans, USA. He completed his dissertation in 2003 at the Institute of Neurophysiology. After completing his residency at the Department of Neurology in Charité University Hospital, Berlin, Germany, he has been a neurologist since 2009. He was a consultant neurologist at the St. Josefs Hospital Potsdam, Germany, until 2016, at which time he became the consultant neurologist at the Klinikum Ernst von Bergmann, Potsdam, Germany, who is responsible for the stroke unit, neurosonology lab, and neurological acute care medicine. Since 2011, he has been an instructor of the German Society of Ultrasound in Medicine (DEGUM).
