Biography

Samira Shojaee, MD, is assistant professor of medicine at VCU Health in Richmond, Virginia, and director of the interventional pulmonology fellowship program. Dr. Shojaee received her medical degree at Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia, attended her residency at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia, and completed her pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at Dartmouth College, followed by interventional pulmonology fellowship training at VCU. She was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians in 2013.
