Biography
Dr. Kamitsuru is the current President and former Chair of the Diagnosis Development Committee of NANDA International. After working as a clinical nurse in both the USA and Japan, she developed a strong interest in nursing diagnosis. She received her doctoral degree from Boston College under the supervision of Dr. Marjory Gordon. She is currently a self-employed nurse consultant living in Tokyo. Her three-step unique nursing diagnosis seminar has been attended by more than 30,000 nurses from around the Japan, and she is esteemed as a nursing diagnosis expert within Asia and around the globe.
