Revista Urología Colombiana (RUC) is the scientific journal of the Colombian Society of Urology (Sociedad Colombiana de Urología). This journal brings together original research, review articles and other significant contributions to medical sciences, particularly urology. The peer-review process in RUC is double blind. The editorial office assesses manuscripts to validate if they are up to ethical standards and in accordance with journal policy. Studies considered proper are shared with at least two experts in the field to evaluate their scientific quality. The editor-in-chief is responsible for the final decision whether to accept or reject submissions.
