Journal of Neurological Surgery Reports is an Open Access journal for neurosurgical and skull base case reports. A companion to the Journal of Neurological Surgery (JNLS), it is a multidisciplinary publication with a special focus on detailing the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of clinical cases. The Journal of Neurological Surgery Reports is an invaluable resource for all neurosurgeons and skull base surgeons, including those specializing in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, maxillo-facial surgery, neuro-ophthalmology, neuro-radiology, and plastic surgery.

Aims and Scope

  • To communicate unique or unusual clinical cases encountered across the fields of neurosurgery and skull base surgery
  • To report individual results of new surgical approaches and techniques
  • To complement the research findings and reviews published in Journal of Neurological Surgery with clinical data and cases
  • To promote greater exchange of information between the specialties and sub-specialties related to neurosurgery and skull base surgery

All manuscripts submitted to Journal of Neurological Surgery Reports undergo rigorous blind peer review. As an Open Access publication, all articles in Journal of Neurological Surgery Reports are freely available for all to read and download from Thieme E-Journals.

For information about how to submit a manuscript to Journal of Neurological Surgery Reports, including details about the publication fee, please see the author instructions.
