Arquivos de Neuro-Psiquiatria is the official journal of the Brazilian Academy of Neurology (Academia Brasileira de Neurologia). Created in 1943, the journal aims to publish peer-reviewed papers of relevance to professionals and researchers in the areas of clinical neurology and neuroscience. Original articles, views and reviews, historical notes, images in neurology, and letters related to previously published manuscripts are considered for publication. Case reports and articles in the areas of neurosurgery or psychiatry are not within the scope of this journal. Arquivos de Neuro-Psiquiatria is an Open Access journal that publishes its contents in English.
