The Asian Journal of Oncology, a publication of Spring Hope Cancer Foundation, is a peer-reviewed journal. It started in 2015 with a bi-annual frequency. During the due course of development, the journal gained attention from authors and readers globally and got listed in DOAJ. Due to increasing submissions from authors from across the globe, especially South-East Asia, the journal became tri-annual in frequency from 2020.
The journal's Editorial Board members include eminent names from surgical oncology, onco-medicine, critical care, radiology and onco-specialists from the fields of gastroenterology, hematology and pulmonology, originating predominantly from South-East Asia. It focuses on publishing emerging original investigations, articles and reviews addressing developing technologies, and therapeutic interventions in oncotherapy and related surgeries. The journal does not charge any fee from the authors to publish and is motivated to disseminate quality clinical knowledge and research information, coming from established clinicians, budding researchers and students to its global audience.
