Chinese Medicine and Natural Products (CMNP) was founded in 2021 and is co-sponsored by Henan University of Chinese Medicine and the China Association of Chinese Medicine. CMNP is officially funded by the "Project for Enhancing International Impact of China's STM Journals".

CMNP is published by Thieme and is an international Open Access journal devoted to publishing peer-reviewed, high quality, original papers in the field of Chinese medicine. It is our aim to publish the theoretical and clinical research achievements and promote the academic exchange of Chinese medicine, promote the reference of Chinese and Western medical ideas, theories and technologies, expand the international influence and development of Chinese medicine.

We welcome editorials, original articles, reviews, expert perspectives and case reports in all aspects of Chinese medicine, including but not limited to the following areas: Zhang Zhongjing's academic, classical prescriptions and clinical medicine, experimental studies, research on the material foundation of Chinese materia medica, pharmacology and clinics of Chinese materia medica, and acupuncture research.
